ISN’T THIS DELEGITIMIZING LOVE?

The routes to relationship are changing, keeping pace with digital technology as more romantic connections are made online and on dating applications. Apps like Tinder offer chances for casual encounters which might turn serious, while big businesses, such as Match.com, promise to facilitate eternally compatible romantic matches. Then there are T.V. shows such as The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, 90 Day Fiancé, Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire, that have managed to turn love and marriage into entertainment. This dinner series is even more serious than all these routes because it doubles down on love by offering something even more fundamental maybe, FREEDOM.

DO I HAVE TO BE A DOCUMENTED IMMIGRANT TO PARTICIPATE?

We are neither interested, nor do we inquire into the immigration status of the immigrant. However, we do verify U.S. citizenship status.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE DINNER?
WHO PAYS FOR THE DINNER AND WHY?

The cost of the dinner is $120 for a couple. The U.S. citizen will cover the entire cost of the dinner, paying for both themselves and their immigrant date. These dinners shift the burden of cost to the U.S. citizen.

HOW DO YOU VERIFY CITIZENSHIP OF U.S. DINER PARTICIPANTS?

All U.S. citizen dinner participants must prove their citizenship to be granted admission to the dinner. We verify the citizenship of U.S. citizen dinner participants, as well as their financial viability. At a pre-dinner in-person interview, U.S. citizen dinner participants will need to provide the following documentation:

  1. U.S. Passport and or U.S. Birth Certificate

  2. Pay Stubs and or Federal Tax Return Transcripts

WE ONLY REVIEW YOUR DOCUMENTS FOR VERIFICATION PURPOSES, NONE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS HELD, KEPT OR COPIED.
This process mimics, in reverse, the current immigration bureaucracy which places exorbitant burdens of proof regarding identity, financial viability, political affiliation etc, on immigrants who reside here. (Review Affidavit of Support)

ARE PARTICIPANTS EXPECTED TO GET MARRIED?

NO. There is no obligation for any participants to get married. If couples did choose to marry after finding love at one of the dinners, I reckon that would make a lovely story for some future grandkids.

DO YOU PROVIDE LEGAL SUPPORT OR ANY OTHER IMMIGRATION COUNSEL?

We do not currently provide any legal advice or support. If you’re an immigration attorney with radical politics we’d love to work with you. email us yes@marriagetrumpsall.com
